Happy Easter! I had this weird twinge of let’s just call it guilt while painting easter eggs shortly after finishing Hal Herzog’s Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat which is about the intricacies of human animal interactions. SO here’s a comic. It’s been a long time butttt my computer was broken so let’s see if this new one helps
Probably one of the best feelings in the world right up there with - first kiss with your sweetheart, The birth of your first and second children…not that d-bag third one, making s’mores, the smell of freshly laundered linens, the scratch of a cat’s tongue across your skin, the croon of your lover in the morning when you knee them in the cooter while trying to climb over them to head to the bathroom but they are sleeping all weird in the big puffy comforter and you couldn’t tell where their legs were and you feel bad but you didn’t do it on purpose and you still really have to pee and if you had cared less you wouldn’t have been trying to get out of bed so gingerly and not wake them. OH YEAH and my computer died so I currently don’t have any drawing software so I made this on Google Docs….which was difficult for drawing the way I’m used to so you might have noticed the clown …sucks …and stops showing up. Good luck to all my unemployed friends out there, haters gonna hate but don’t let them get you down. Keep trying
P.S. no joke I just got an error while trying to upload this
HAPPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! This might be the third birthday comic I’ve done. Jason Vorhees, The Boy, and Little Debbie. Jeff has the smiley psycho one…hrm what else what else. Oh Witchy Top Tower – one of my first comics – was a birthday party held in a haunted house. Poor Paul.
My computer is being finicky AKA riddled with viruses I guess. One lets ten more in, just like the guy who you didn’t want coming to your party who brings his weird girlfriend and a couple guys you may have seen around town but you think they are kind of shady and then later something gets broken and a fight starts and you can’t find one of the DVDs you swore was sitting right there. Yeah that’s my computer, it’s old, 2004? The point I was getting to was sorry for the sporadic updates
Bobo VS. Chapter 2 – Family Matters
July 15th, 2011 | by ChrisBobo VERSUS Chapter 2 … I don’t know what else to say. I love you… DAMMIT too soon? I’m so AWWWKKWARD!!!!! waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh
Oh man what a good joke!. I wanted the slurp to potentially be a little more annoying so I’ll leave that up to your imaginations! YAY! Nerd Alert!
Happy 4th Of July! Hope you had fun!
July 3rd, 2010 was our first comic posting ever! So we celebrate our independence from non-existence. That makes sense right?
DEADEGG BBQ time! and surprise guests! Wassy, Deadegg’s Tangerine…friend and McMuffin Man from Marc Basile’s epic cover –> http://sideshowcomics.com/2010/08/30/deadegg-cover/
Hope you enjoyed the last year of comics
I hadn’t looked at our first introductory comic in a long time and my self portrait still cracks me up. Check it out by pressing the “First” button under any comic.
If you like something we do drop a comment somewhere. It means the world to us. Give us a hint who you are hopefully. Because we get enough anonymous viagra spam to cause an erection lasting 4,000 hours…which would kill a normal website
But we strut around in sweatpants givin you the creep eye. So come back alright? ~~ CREEP EYE AT MAXIMUM~~
Bobo Versus begins. It’s time for Bobo to test his mettle and find out what he is made of ..wait what’d you say …speak up…. oh indestructible plastic? That is a really good guess! Shit well there goes the twist ending! Dora the Explora’ makes audience participation look easy and then someone goes and fucks it up on my first try. Oh well I’ll think of something else.
I’ll need the practice I’ve been away from my lovely comic home for too long and in the meanwhile it’s been all strong guys and penises. Jeff was heading us toward a very homoerotic version of that Mickey Mouse Sorcerer’s Apprentice section from Fantasia. So I’m back and I’m removing oceans of dicks to the sounds of timpanis and cymbal crashes. VIVID IMAGERY UPLOAD COMPLETED.
Just kidding Jeff
Your comics are awesome and everyone knows it
P.S. There’s still gonna be plenty of dick jokes so don’t get nervous.
I started with a Jason Birthday stripper in the cake cliche for one and a half seconds and then I made this. I brought back some guys from the “Teacher’s Meeting” comic from a long time ago and originally was going to have the orange guy hang himself again the comic’s hovertext contains me rambling on about it. BTW most of my comics have hovertext just put your mouse on the comic and wait a second a little yellow box should show up if it doesn’t you screwed up somehow, pick your mouse up shake it and try again (that’s how you reset it
)
The point is HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFF!!!!
Happy Birthday lil’ guy! Birthdays are a delicate balance. Sometimes you get your hopes up and it’s all Murphy’s Law. Other times your friends or the world can surprise you – Look cute girls/guys!! Hope your last one was good. If it wasn’t… eh chin up …it’s not the end of world give me a call next year
We’ll get pizza.
This is the second of the little boy drawings that I made. He doesn’t have a name yet. I called him Greg on something BUT ehh.
I had a plush spider man toy awhile ago that said “sleep tight” and that’s the voice I hear when I read this. Also the aspect of the “don’t let the bed bugs bite” followup when this bug monster is making his “bed” by wrapping him tight. See? See the levels? I try to have something ominous but also somewhat protecting in all of the drawings which I feel is what childhood is all about. The kid never gets hurt but he’s face to face with these monsters all the time. Childhood is just one thin little eggshell away from oblivion. I don’t know if he’s not scared because he’s naive or courageous. Speaking of courage I also really like the show Courage the Cowardly dog which makes Scooby-Doo look like…well I never liked Scooby -Doo so it doesn’t get a finished simile. So childhood, Courage the Cowardly dog, Spider-man toy, sleep tight saying, ominous, monsters and love and caring. And I drew this by hand!
